What Garage Settings is for
Garage Settings is your centralized place to manage sharing, transfers, custom data fields, service providers, and garage manager access across everything in your collection.
How to open Garage Settings
In the left navigation, expand My Garage, then select Garage Settings.
Sharing
Sharing shows every secure share link you have created. You can:

create general shares and choose what data is included
-
optionally add password protection
-
copy links and passwords
-
view, edit, or revoke access
-
sort and filter the list using column controls

public garage share to showcase items on your public profile

car club registry share to hand vehicle details to club admins for their registry
Transfers
Transfers let you hand off the full record for an item to another owner. You can:

accept or reject incoming transfers
-
transfer to an existing RumbleSeat user
-
transfer to an external user who will be prompted to create an account
When accepted, the item and its data move into the recipient’s garage.
Custom attributes
Custom attributes let you add custom data fields when default attributes are not enough. You can:

create a custom attribute with a name and description
-
edit or delete attributes
You can also add custom attributes directly while editing an item. Garage Settings is the global place to manage everything you have created.
Service providers
Service providers are your Rolodex for shops and specialists tied to your collection. You can:

add a provider with a name and description
-
edit or delete providers
You can also create and select providers while working inside the service and restoration area.
Garage managers
Garage managers are people you grant access to so they can help manage items in your collection. You can:

invite a manager by name and email
-
grant access to all items or specific items
-
include a personal note describing what you want them to do
You can also see who has access and remove access when needed.
To view items shared with you as a garage manager:

go to your collection
-
open Filter and sort
-
select garage manager view shared items
-
choose the collection(s) you want to view
