About RumbleSeat

We're car people, building for car people.

RumbleSeat was founded in 2023 by four lifelong enthusiasts who happen to have spent their careers building software. We built the platform we always wished existed — for the clubs, collectors, and everyday drivers who make this hobby what it is.

Our story

Why we built RumbleSeat.

Between us, we've spent decades in two worlds: building and scaling software companies, and living the collector-car hobby — in the garage, at the concours, and on the open road. For years those worlds never quite met. Clubs ran on group texts, spreadsheets, and Facebook. Collectors kept their records in shoeboxes. Buying and selling meant re-posting the same car across a dozen forums.

We knew the hobby deserved better tools — modern, secure, and built by people who actually understand it. So in 2023 we came together to build one connected platform for enthusiasts and the clubs they belong to: a real home on the web for every club, a digital garage for every vehicle, a marketplace with no seller fees, and a community feed built around cars, not ads.

We're building RumbleSeat for the long haul — and we're building it for people like us. Cars first, always.

The founders

Four people. One obsession.

A visionary entrepreneur, a historian and preservationist, a product-and-growth builder, and the architect who holds it all together — four complementary leaders, united by a lifelong love of cars.

Perry Pintzow

Co-founder · Product & platform strategy

Perry Pintzow

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Perry's passion for automobiles began early. His father shared a love of antique cars — especially his 1932 Franklin — and introduced Perry to vintage car shows throughout his childhood. As a teenager, Perry saw his first Duesenberg and immediately fell in love, beginning a lifelong appreciation for prewar automobiles.

He earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1985 before founding Jobsite Software, Inc. in 1994, a company he continues to lead more than three decades later. In 2007 he co-founded InkSoft, helping build it into an industry-leading software platform before its successful acquisition by private equity in 2022.

In 2015 Perry began collecting vintage automobiles, with a particular passion for large-engine prewar classics including Duesenberg, Bentley, and Doble. He has donated two vehicles to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, where they remain on permanent display, and regularly tours behind the wheel of his Duesenberg and Bentley.

In 2023 Perry co-founded RumbleSeat, bringing together his lifelong enthusiasm for collector automobiles and more than 30 years building software companies. He focuses on product strategy, platform architecture, and applying sophisticated data and analytics to create modern tools for car clubs, digital garages, and enthusiast communities.

A.J. SanClemente
At the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance
Co-founder · Technical vision

A.J. SanClemente

A lifelong collector-car enthusiast, A.J. grew up in a family where automobiles were more than a hobby. His father began collecting Auburn automobiles in the 1950s and became well known for restoring many of the era's most significant collector cars. That early exposure sparked a passion for automotive history and preservation that has continued throughout A.J.'s life.

He earned degrees in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross and Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute before a technology career spanning more than 35 years. He has co-founded multiple successful software companies and held senior engineering leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Engineering at Monster Worldwide, where he helped build large-scale systems serving millions of users.

An active member of the Classic Car Club of America, the Antique Automobile Club of America, and numerous other organizations, A.J. has long contributed to the community through research, touring, and historical preservation. He documented the history of the rare 1928 Stutz Schumacher Special, served as navigator in the 2022 Great Race, and is recognized for his knowledge of Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Duesenberg, and other prewar automobiles. In 2026 he will exhibit his one-of-a-kind REO Royale at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

In 2023 A.J. co-founded RumbleSeat after recognizing the need for modern technology built specifically for automotive enthusiasts. Drawing on decades of engineering leadership and lifelong involvement in the hobby, he guides the platform's technical vision while ensuring it reflects the needs of the clubs, collectors, and enthusiasts who use it every day.

Co-founder · Product, UX & growth

JP Hunt

JP combines more than two decades building technology companies with a passion for the off-road and overlanding community. An avid overlander and dispersed camper, he explores remote destinations throughout the American Southwest in his modified Lexus GX 460 — bringing a practical enthusiast's perspective to the development of RumbleSeat.

He earned his MBA with a concentration in Technology Management before co-founding InkSoft in 2007. As part of the founding team, he helped grow InkSoft into one of the leading platforms serving the custom apparel industry, earning spots on the Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 lists of America's fastest-growing private companies in 2014 and 2015. Following the company's acquisition by private equity in 2022, he continued building software products and online communities.

In 2023 JP joined Perry and A.J. as a co-founder of RumbleSeat, combining his experience scaling SaaS businesses with his passion for automotive adventure. He leads the company's product strategy, user experience, and business direction, helping create modern, intuitive tools that connect clubs and enthusiast communities of every kind.

His appreciation for the hobby comes through exploration rather than concours fields — a perspective that complements RumbleSeat's broader mission of serving enthusiasts across every segment of the automotive world.

What we believe

The principles behind the platform.

Enthusiast-first

Every feature is built by people who live the hobby — in the garage, at the concours, and on the road. If it wouldn't work for us, it doesn't ship.

Community over algorithms

A feed and clubs built around cars and the people who love them — not ads, not engagement traps. The cars are the heroes; the software gets out of the way.

Built to last

Decades of engineering experience behind a secure, scalable foundation — built and hosted in the USA. Your club roster and records are yours, and they're not going anywhere.
