Overview
Account verification unlocks full access to RumbleSeat features and helps keep the platform safe and secure from bots, scams, and spam. It only takes about a minute.
You may be prompted to verify when you try to use certain features, like creating a marketplace listing or contacting sellers. You can also complete verification anytime from your profile.
What you need

A mobile phone number that can receive text messages

A valid debit or credit card
Step 1: Open the verification screen

In RumbleSeat, click your profile icon in the bottom left

Select My Info

Look for the banner that says Get verified to unlock full access

Click Get Started
Step 2: Verify your phone number

Enter your mobile number

Click Send Code

Enter the six digit code you receive by text

Click Verify to continue
You should see a success message after your phone number is verified.
Step 3: Verify a debit or credit card
After phone verification, complete the final step by entering a valid debit or credit card and submitting it.
Important note on security: RumbleSeat uses Stripe, a trusted third party payment provider. When you enter your card details, the information is encrypted and tokenized. Stripe confirms the card is valid, and only Stripe has access. It is not stored directly in your RumbleSeat account.
Once the process completes, you will see a success message and a banner indicating your account is verified.
What you can do after verification
Once verified, your account is fully unlocked so you can:

List classified and auction listings in the marketplace

Contact and engage with sellers in the marketplace
