The golden rule
No one from RumbleSeat will ever ask for:
- Your credit card number
- Your password or sign-in codes
- Personal or bank details
- Clicking a link to “verify” your account
- Payment outside RumbleSeat
If a message asks for any of these, even one that looks like it’s from us, it’s a scam trying to steal your card or personal information. Don’t reply. Report it.

Six red flags worth knowing by heart. Spot one, and it’s time to stop, step back, and report.
A stranger slides into your DMs
Someone you don’t recognize messages out of the blue. Don’t engage. Ignore or report the request.
“Support” asks you to click a link
Our support team will never ask you to click a link to verify, unlock, or restore your account.
Anyone asks for card or personal info
Card numbers, passwords, sign-in codes, bank details, your address. Never share them in a message.
The deal is too good to be true
Rare cars at bargain prices, buyers paying way over asking. That’s bait, not luck.
They want to move off RumbleSeat
Text, WhatsApp, or personal email takes the conversation somewhere our moderators can’t help you.
Pressure, urgency, or odd payments
Countdowns, “act now,” gift cards, wire transfers, or crypto. Slow down. Real enthusiasts can wait.
See something? Say something.
Don’t engage. Report it.
Got a message from someone you don’t recognize? You don’t owe them a reply. Every report goes straight to RumbleSeat moderators, and reports about club content also go to that club’s admins. You’re helping protect the whole community.
- Don’t replyNo need to be polite to a scammer. Engaging tells them your account is active.
- Tap the menu and choose ReportLook for the ⋯ menu on the post, listing, comment, or conversation.
- Block if you want them goneBlocked users can’t follow or message you, and their content is hidden from you.
You can report posts, replies, Marketplace listings and comments, conversations, and club forums and comments.
