Winner: The 1924 Hispano-Suiza H6C Nieuport-Astra Torpedo — affectionately called the “Tulipwood Torpedo” — took home the coveted Best of Show trophy. It was shown by Penny and Lee Anderson Sr. of Naples, Florida.

Unparalleled Craftsmanship: Built with mahogany strips forming an aircraft-inspired body by Nieuport-Astra, the car’s surface is made of 1/8-inch-thick wood strips affixed to ribs with nearly 10,000 aluminum rivets. The entire body weighs just 160 pounds.

Racing Heritage: Commissioned by André Dubonnet — WWI ace and auto racer — the car competed in the 1924 Targa Florio and Coppa Florio races, cementing its legacy as both a piece of art and a machine of competition.
