Like, reply, repost, and share
Every post has an action row so you can engage in the way that fits. Knowing the difference helps you interact the way you intend.
What each action does
- Like — a quick thumbs-up; the author is notified.
- Reply — add a public comment; the count appears next to the label.
- Repost — share someone else's post to your own followers, like a retweet.
- Share — send the post elsewhere (e.g. copy a link).
- Bookmark (the ribbon icon) — privately save the post for later (see Save posts).
Tips & tricks
- Repost amplifies to your followers; Share is better for sending a link to one person. Pick based on who you want to reach.
