Create a classified listing
A classified is a fixed-price listing where buyers contact you directly and can send offers — the simplest way to sell. (An auction, by contrast, is timed and the highest bid wins.)
Before you start
Your account must be verified, and you'll want at least one clear photo.
Steps
- Go to Marketplace → + Create listing and choose Classified Listing.
- Choose the source:
- Create a new item — start from scratch; it's saved to your Garage.
- From My Garage — pick an existing vehicle/item; specs, photos, and history carry over automatically.
- Link external listing — paste a URL and RumbleSeat mirrors it.
- Step 1 — the basics: Listing Title (max 65 chars), Year, Make, Model, Current Item Location, Description (min 50 chars), Price, a Pricing Display Option, a Category (Car, Truck, Motorcycle, SUV, Parts, RV/Camper, Powersport, Boat, and more), and whether you're a dealer. Keep RumblePay on (recommended).
- Step 2 — item details: Item Condition, Title Status, Exterior/Interior Color, VIN / Registration Number, Odometer, Transmission, and photos/video (at least one photo required).
- Click Done to publish.
Definition: RumblePay
RumblePay (powered by KeySavvy) guides both parties through payment and title transfer once a buyer commits — no cash handoffs, no title paperwork guesswork.
Tips & tricks
- Listing From My Garage is the fastest route — your specs and photos come along, so you only set price and category.
- Write a thorough description (known issues, mods, service history). Buyers trust detailed listings and you'll field fewer repetitive questions.
Frequently asked
Can I edit a listing after publishing? Yes — open it from My Listings and edit any field.
