Lamborghini's company museum at the Sant'Agata Bolognese factory, opened in 2001 and substantially renovated and expanded in June 2016. Displays historic and current models including the 350 GT, Miura, Countach, and Sesto Elemento, plus a driving simulator.

Alfa Romeo's company museum in Arese, reopened in 2015 as "La Macchina del Tempo" after a multi-year closure. Displays roughly 70 vehicles spanning from the 1910 24 HP, the marque's first Portello-built car, to current models and racing cars.

Operated by the Italian Army at the Cecchignola military complex in Rome, founded in 1955 and moved to its current 50,000 sqm site in 1991. Houses over 300 civilian and military vehicles, 60 tracked/armored vehicles, 60 motorcycles, and a historical archive.

A small municipal museum in a former church in Mantua, opened in 1985 and dedicated to Italian racing driver Tazio Nuvolari.

Museum and working atelier of Pagani Automobili, founded in 1998 by Horacio Pagani, displaying the Zonda and Huayra hypercar families adjacent to the production atelier.

Private collection founded by Umberto Panini after he rescued 19 historic Maserati vehicles, including an ex-Fangio 250F and a Tipo 61 "Birdcage," from being sold abroad following the 1996 auction of Maserati's official collection. The museum relocated to a new Modena site near the airport in 2025.

A planned dedicated Gilera motorcycle museum project ("Hangar-Core") in the former Bestetti Hangar in Arcore, organized by the Registro Storico Gilera historic registry founded in 1999. As of mid-2026 the project remains in planning and development and is not yet open to the public.
